Overview

VisualCalendar is a calendar application that displays today or tomorrow's events from a Google Calendar, along with image attachments to those events available from Google Drive. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

What Data the App Accesses

VisualCalendar accesses the following data from your Google account:

• Google Calendar: The app reads the list of calendars available to your Google account and the calendar events from the calendar selected within the application. Only events for today and tomorrow are queried at any given time.
• Google Drive: The app accesses image files that have been added as attachments to your calendar events. Access is limited to images that were explicitly shared via "anyone with the link" sharing, or images uploaded from within the app itself (planned in future development).

How Your Data Is Used

Your calendar events and attached images are used solely to display them to you within the app. That is the full extent of how your data is used.

Data Storage and Caching

• The app does not store your calendar events or image attachments on any external server.
• The app does not cache your calendar events or image attachments locally on your device.
• All data is queried on a per-need basis in real time as you use the app.

Data Sharing

VisualCalendar does not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Calendar API and Google Drive API to retrieve your data. Your use of those services is subject to Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

VisualCalendar is designed to be suitable for users of all ages, including children with neuro-divergent needs such as autism, to help reduce anxiety by providing a clear visual overview of the day ahead.

The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from any user, including children. No account creation is required within the app itself, and no user data is retained on any server or cached locally on the device. All calendar and image data is retrieved in real time from the parent or guardian's Google account and is displayed only within the app.

Since the app does not collect any personal information, there is no data from children to disclose, sell, or share with third parties.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted with an updated date at the top of this page.
